Now, you tell me one female that doesn't love a good contour ? Yep, exactly what I thought. Cheekbones ladies, cheekbones. Now, for well over a year now MAC's Harmony has fit the bill, but lately, even with a bit tan, I feel like I am just covering my face in mud, and dang that aint a good look. Unless your a farmyard animal, then naturally mud, mud IS the way to go.
Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder
Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow
So, the other day, after watching a few YouTube tutorials, eyeing up the Kevyn Aucoin's Sculpting Powder and the delicious Illamasqua's Hollow, (I've been watching Maleficent tutorials, can you tell ?) I thought sod that for a price cheese, I'm skint. So dipped my Real Techniques Contour Brush in my Natural Collection Eye Shadow duo and a new contour powder was born.
Natural Collection Mocha/latte
It may lack the lasting power, but heck for something that cost's £1.99 when my budget when from hey there, to hell no. I aint gonna complain. I essentially get 3 for the price one. Eyeshadow for when i'm going for that smokey look, spritz some of Fix + on an angled brush and say hello to eyebrows, and now contour. Obviously the shade I use, (Mocha/Latte) is suited for my skin tone and hair colour. But just wack the brush in some of the white shade and you can get the right shade. And with all things make up, blending is your best friends. Natural Collection is a lovely brand I can rely on when money is a little tight. Their mascara is always a win in my book, and I favour it over some drugstore brands. I know, shock, horror. But we all know, Benefits They're Real, will stay a long lasting favourite to all beauty lovers out there. Drool.
Anyway, hope y'all are having a fab friday. Let me know if you tried this too !
Ta Ta for now !
Jess, just another blogger.
